Crappies are found in the same general areas that the bluegill is. Sometimes the crappie will drift out farther from the weed line and suspend. Most anglers use minnows, but I always carry one rod with a teardrop.
Perch anglers need to remember just a few things. Perch love the flats. Often the first flat out from the drop-off is good but don't forget the deepest flats as well. Keep your minnow or teardrop near the bottom for best success. Glow-in-the-dark colors work well.
