Best all-time artificial lures. I’ve used them all over the years; they work. You should make them a standard part of your tackle selection. Here they are: Daredevle Red & White spinner, Rapala plugs, Panther Martin spinners, Mepps spinners, and last but not least, the Acme Kastmaster.
Do you have any favorites?

Since you asked.

1/2 oz. "R" bend white head, red eye, 2 silver blade spinner bait (lower blade is an embossed #4 colorado, upper blade is an embossed #4 wide willow), white with white & black holo silicon skirt. I originally bought it as a Strike King with Bill Dance's endorsement, but Strike King ceased marketing it. I saw it a year later as a Galleon's(since become Dick's Sporting Goods) house brand, only to have it disappear once more. The last few years I have purchased the components from Jann's Netcraft to make my own.

It provides plenty of vibration, flash, and has a good sized profile. Versitile enough for 8" smallmouth on the Fox River in Northern Illinois to 40" + Northern in southern Ontario. I never leave home without several.

Rapala still hand tune their lures. You should be able to unpackage your lure and go fishing, with no need to adjust the front eye to trim the plug.
